I'm also running on Win10 now and it's sleeeeeeeek :3 XIV works perfectly! Might need a restart after the install finishes (Mine needed it for gfx driver), but other than that, it's been bliss so far. Happy upgradeeen!
Personally, I've taken that approach after finding it on the MS forum, but ended up not working and giving a different error. What got it going for me was downloading the Windows 10 MediaCreationTool (64bit for me) off the official site. It's just a straight up download and installation process of 10.
