    As far as I can tell, the Inquisition's most powerful or strongest arms would have been the Heavensward, who the WoL tackled on actually quite a bit. if you just saw your strongest arms walk away or not deal with it, why would you as the Inquisition?

    A straight fight isn't the only way to deal with someone, or the only way to prove they are a threat to your society.

    Im sure actual inquisitions had plenty of methods, not all of them honest, to have people question a man's nature enough to bring them to their clutches.

    (But isn't this what happened in 2.55?)

    Not exactly. There we were being set up for a crime, and it was largely because of our intact reputations an unquestionable nature that we were practically untouchable wherever we went.

    That reputation, is what the inquisition would focus on. Make hearts and minds turn on their mark.
