Losing is fine if it is competitive, but once you have 0 points and other teams 500+ it start eat motivation.

Nah, from what I've seen in the 800+ something matches I've played, on Primal, the Adders have always been the dominant GC whereas the Flames have always been the weakest. The Maelstrom always sort of sits in the middle, either doing really occasionally well or absolutely terribly.
During secure they were good, during slaughter they were near unbeatable, and now they're still good. I would attribute it due to the fact that Adder tends to have the most premades rolling and winning matches pretty handily, but so far, the Maelstrom has been unimpressive with its performance as per usual. There was a reason we used to refer to the Maelstrom as 'the eternal second'.

Which leads people to stop queueing, and subsequently causes the other two GC's to have terrible queues. Which subsequently makes people not want to wait to PVP, so they stop queueing. And eventually PVP is seen as "dead", despite people actually wanting to PVP. /sigh

yeah, if you saw the picture i posted on the first page, we did have 0 points. Everyone was bickering at each other before the match ended. It was very tense and toxic, makes me not want to do the game mode tbh.
OP, what time do you typically run? If at all possible, try starting a linkshell on your server for Twin Adders PVP and start running premades with voice chat. It's something we've done over on Faerie, and we have pretty high success rates at it. (I think I ended the week at 46% win, but solo queued for almost 1/2 of my matches).

Or you know...instead of adding a handicap to them, why not just make the GC you're on random...
Being on Behemoth and a part of the Primal data center, I've been asking around because I heard the same thing, and outside a group of 4-5 people, I have not seen or heard of anything like that happening with the Adders I lead. I do see a lot of people I run with before and a lot of them know the gametype and my leading style. So from what I get when I lead, a lot of us just solo queue. Typically, as long as they listen we do pretty well.

Ya know what, that's an excellent idea. I play mainly in pst mornings, and occasionally in the evenings. but it's still a really good idea regardless, I think I may do that.OP, what time do you typically run? It'd be nice if the win ratio was tied to gc because I know it's just a stat but it's hard to see it drop.

TA really do suck on Aether. Its kinda fun to see what stupid thing they do every match. Because almost without fail, they do something really stupid every single match.
My favorite was when Mael capped three nodes at the start, flames capped one. Adder was far closer to Maelstrom. What did they do? Suicided against Flames, and kept doing this the whole match not letting flames get anywhere while Mael won by a landslide. TA had 0 at the end, Flames was about half way.
