So I should put a CP +4 in all left side slots first, then Control IV's and save Craftmanship III and IV's for over melds?

using that info I'm looking at something like:
Head: CP IV and Control IV
Chest: CP IV and Control IV
Hands: CP IV and Control IV
Legs: CP IV and Control IV
Feet: CP IV and Control IV
    Waist: CP IV

and then for my first Over meld in each one go for a Craft III (+5), Second Over meld Control III?

    Mine is as follows:

    Head, Hand, Leg, Feet: CP4, Control4, Control4, Craft2, Craft2
    Body: CP4, Craft4, Craft4, Craft3
    Belt: CP4, Control4, Control3, Craft2, Craft1
    Neck, Wrist: CP4, CP3, Control3, Craft2, Craft1
    Earring: CP4, CP4, Control3, Craft2, Craft1
    Rings: Control4, CP3, Control2, Craft2, Craft1

With this, I have enough Craft for ** and then I get the missing Control with NQ Seafood Stew until I have the crafted Off-Hand which will be my first item I craft. Although it costs some gil, you should overmeld the first forbidden slot with a T4 materia. My variant is a mid-cost variant which is enough for **, if you're shitting gil, then you can do more optimal melds (T4 materia on second/third forbidden slot)
