That was partly the point of this Topic, although not everyone understood it and saw it as a complaint (probably stopped and read just the title ). Again, it is not and I'm sure the Community Reps will see it as a feedback, as it is. A desire to watch the beautiful landscapes of Eorzea, the clouds and the sunsets, from above.

So, again, if they already said in the past they were going to add first the simple transportation, and in the future the full travel part, I missed it. I read a lot of things, and there's much heat in Thanalan, so that's possible!

That was also what I was requesting: if this is just a temporary measure to give us airships and if in the future we'll be able to actually ride them, maybe after the changes on the map and on the weather (I think a “choice” option, like the one suggested by Lerris, would be good for those adventurers who don't feel like admiring Eorzea from above), or if it's going to stay permanently this way.
