Favors and the frequency of nodes spawning.

Okay I have a few questions for those gathering favour items.

1.) How high is your perception?

2.) How many nodes did you spawn?

3.) Did you require sneak?

4.) Did you fly in interacting as you touched down to save time. Trying like a crazy person to click those nodes as fast as possible?

This is not to point out bad methods, it is actually to determine if perception influences node spawn. I have quite a few gatherers in my ls. Some of them have gear gained from class quests, some trailblazers, some HQ, some HQ melded. Any varying mishmashes in between. But, it seems like those with the melds get more then 10 items with theire 5 buffs, sometimes getting 20. On the other end those with the poorest gear are getting 0-2.

Now I am not going to call them all lazy or anything, as some of them swear they rush the same way the melded guys do. But some of the melded guys do not rush...one even stopped for an S rank and still got 13 items as he wasted an entire buff. So any data would be appreciated. Also...if anyone wants to take a hit and drop a ton of perception to see if their results get worse, that would be awesome. Unfortunately, nobody is willing to do that in my ls.

I sneak in the zones I need to. The black swan zone needs a lot of sneaking. The crawlers aggro easily.

I was pretty efficient and fanatic for the first 3 group of favors I did. Then I got really bored with it and was reading while I gathered, sometimes even doing an ephemeral node that popped nearby during my 15 minutes.

Perc is 645. And my best so far is 10 from a set of 5. I sneak when i have to and fly between the far off nodes. Sprint between others.

I almost feel like taking a pause from doing favors and waiting for tuesday's patch if they fix which all the gatherers see as broken...

3. Sneaking if I feel close by mob spots me, otherwise no
4. Flying from node to node unless close by, then sprinting. Hitting as many nodes as possible.

It's starting to be obvious the spawn rate of these nodes isn't high enough to match hand in hand the amount of token from crafting side (5 favors should yield 20 items to match 9 crafting materials /week on average).

Yeah the ratio is more like 1/1.5 crafter tokens to gathering tokens UNLESS you burn extra crafters tokens for HQ mats using the rare ingredients from favors. But wow will it be tedious doing these every week for 11 hours.

I seem to be getting 3-4 per favor. I have 686 perception. does perception actually have any effect on concealed spawn rate?

i dont think perception has anything to do with it.
Have 653 Perception and got 8 Void Nuts out of 5 Favors, that was extremely frustrating.

on the other hand i'm was getting 25 wyvern's wart and 3 dragon's wart, 20 red ooids and 3 red roundstones and 3 green roundstones and 20 green ooids out of 5 favors of their respective location.

Still its Monday and i've done 20 out of 45 favors. Couldnt even get any crafting done, because fuck i'm only gathering right now as usually main crafter.
Also didnt do any dungeons for esoterics yet + never seen alexander savage from the inside.

The tooltip is wrong but it is still the buff for Forelands.
