This sounds very interesting to meI think we should have a trait or a skill that allows you to focus on a specific body part. This would mean that it would help reduce the amount of damage required to incapacitate that same body part. It could have a longer recast, as long as it gives a specific advantage in battle.Added!
These are all very good suggestions! Do take this to Yoshi! I especially like the idea of a knocking/pulling bow sound, and especially the arrow trails. I was just think this the other night.
I think if they made a new quiver per arrow type, that'd be perfect. That way, the rank 1 arrows have a cheap looking quiver, while the highest ranking arrows have a really fancy and well designed quiver.
Also, some boob physics certainly wouldn't hurt. As long as it's done tastefully. TERA online uses real dynamic soft body physics .. but looks completely unrealistic and is wayyy too overdone. Just something subtle would be fine.

Surprised no one has asked for WIDESCAN yet.
Widescan was an ability that rangers and beastmasters had in XI which allowed them to see enemy locations at a greater distance from the map screen. Very, very useful!

Ok, borrowing another idea from LOTRO, a selftarget AoE party buff that increases movement speed on yourself, and party members within range of the Archer. Always active except durring combat.

That would be useful indeed, its more ranger-beastmaster skill than our Arc in FFXIV I guess, but I will leave that judgment to Devs. Added.
More movement speed u say? I say on the list now ;D And btw I think there was something like that in WoW as well.
What about skill that pull archer back, simply increasing distance between target!?
