And if people are failing that much... do you know what to do? Are you able to communicate with the party to tell them what to do? If everyone has communicated, back and forth, and people are still wiping, then yes it's best to break up. Unfortunately you can't do much about ragequitting.

Make a party finder group to find people to clear it with you.

This is the story version, right? I think.. when I did it my party wiped twice. First time, because we didn't get on Bismarck's back to hit the carapace and the second time because we didn't DPS down the two big sanuwas fast enough. Each time, someone explained why there was a wipe and we were able to clear it.

ohhhh Ragnarok, so much nostalgia <3 I only played vanilla a short time, and moved to a (marginally) increased rate server, which was still a billion times more grindy than this.

As much as I freak myself out over running something for the first time, and being scared I will mess up and inconvenience everyone, I would prefer it if everything in the main game wasn't a complete snoozefest. It doesn't necessarily need to be hard, but I like people needing to actually think. With that said, I don't know how some people got as far as they have with the play I've seen. But the MMO kind of thing to do, or at least once was the MMO kind of thing to do, would be to work it out within the group and progress through it. Help people grow. It totally happens! Duty Finder makes it difficult, but it still happens. It's nice finding people within your server to run things with.

On the other side of the coin, it is frustrating when people just don't listen to you. You gotta make the best of it though. If you know a fight in and out, make a macro explanation and hope someone reads it. If you're still having no luck, shout in the world and use party finder!
