Help Queue Times, Save PVP--Ideas Inside, SE we need you to respond please

Adders PVP linkshell in my FC was stating they've maxed esoterics already with all the Frontlines matches today. Meanwhile I curse at the ever growing time in my DF. I gave up after two queues of 2hrs each. No game at all. Maelstrom on Primal.

Is there a lot of PvP in your FC and do you accept levelers? I am still lvling but really want to at least experience the PvP portion of this game as that is my favorite thing to do in MMO's. I know that isn't this game's main focus but I am looking to find a group of people that like to PvP that I can get to know, whatever else they do aside from PvP is great to, I'd like to accompany them. Let me know if you think you are what I am looking for and if I would be able to join or speak to someone for more info.

In the lead up to the release of Heavensward, it can seem like we're being silent or not following up on many of the topics you're bringing up here. still listening? wow just put out a merc mode that helps alleviate queue times for mass pvp, while ffxiv is still having people wait in queue times that are two, three, four, FIVE PLUS TIMES as long as the actual game match. there is absolutely zero reason people should be waiting an hour long and more for this stuff to play a 10 minute match.

i really want to know: why do the devs not consider accessibility as THE cornerstone of any game mode?

Before WoW put in merc mode, I think a long while back they made it that Alliance could face off against Alliance (or Horde versus Horde) in certain battlegrounds. Correct me if I'm wrong because I haven't played WoW in a long time, but I believe they did this to keep the queues moving.

Give us bonus EXP and Wolf Marks if we have to wait longer than 20 minutes for a game, please.

When waiting we can't do the following because we risk losing our place in queue. I know this can be for any queue but with PVP we are forever waiting. Just something to soften the blow would be appreciated.

1. Take part in hunts to get a decent number of seals etc.
2. Get a haircut.
3. Bring out our Chocobo.
4. Risk levelling a different class (ever tried escaping Svara fate as MT?)
5. Go to the toilet.
6. Do missions which have cut scenes.
7. Play Triple Triad

There's probably more, I missed two games today (both after 30 minute queues). It's so annoying.

Besides a mercenary mode that has been said countless times. What else would you personally place in? The original post had wonderful ideas with people putting in great things. Though 8 pages is a lot to read through. I say we spark this again, something that hasn't been said before..an idea as if you were designing the PvP matches yourself with the current restrictions that would help out. What is on your mind?

Just want to get the ideas rolling.

I love PVP to death but the wait times kill it for me
