i100 and i110 gear no longer special

Because they eliminated the rank requirement on the i110 gear (esp the weapons which really burns me) people are now saying 'Ok NOW what do I get???' as if 45 GD ranks' worth of rewards didn't just become available on a silver platter. They should have lowered the ranks required for it instead so people would still earn glamour rewards on the way to 45, but at earlier ranks, so they'd appreciate it.

Like I said it\\'s not like your really had to do well you just had to waste 40+ minutes in a que. I mean yeah it sucks I mean lets just forget the countless hours it took for people to clear FCOB and get there drops for them to just allow people to unsynch and waltz through to get there glams.

But yeah tell me about how much you had to wait in a que for the sake of grinding for your gear. Those hardcore pve players know nothing of grinding for gear....

It's pretty clear everyone who is for this change are the folks who will benefit from it, not those who were interested in PvP to begin with. They'll get gear they don't deserve and make me a wish a /spit emote was in game, ruin our games, then bail in like two weeks. We're already sitting on 30 minute queues again.

The anger is directed at SE for allowing this to happen.

Sure as you put it all we have done is "wait in q for 40mins" but based on that, isn't all pve just practising rotation, then learning a script for a fight?

Before the rank removal the only people that pvp'd were ones wanting to do so plus the odd light farmer.

There has always been enough pvp players to keep q's popping however SE's stubbornness with GC restriction has made it into what it is today and to top it off our "unique" armor can be rewarded for being sat there AFK.

I'm not a genius but I'm pretty sure they made this change because 1) the gear is level 50 and 2) they wanted players to try pvp, get some level 50 glamours, get hooked, and breathe life into the ques.

I'm confused. I'm standing in the Wolves Den -- looking at the i100/i110 gear via vendor. The rank restriction is still in the description for all these items. Am I missing something?

It's a bug or something -- though some folks have suggested it means you can only get the effect of morale or whatever off the item if you're the right rank.

I do not see what do you mean by that "eliminate the rank require for i-level 110" ? I just went to check woft shop now. they still says that you need to be more than rank 42-45 to equip them in the item description!

PvP is and always has been a slow grind for some cool looking glamour gear. It's not fun. It's not balanced. It's literally horrible. If you think otherwise you are simply fooling yourself.

Seize is totally balanced. I never know which GC is going to win, coming from slaughter where Flames would win 95% of the time. Its not a grind if you enjoy it either, gear and mounts are a perk.
