What to do with new EndGame crafting?

You want to know for what you're gearing? Nah, i would say for next content.
It's like I could ask myself why i got Furier-stuff and Lucis about 1 month before expansion, when the max price for ***-items was about 2-4k, just to reach lvl 55/58 in HW and "throw" it all away.

Ppl should realize that when they got their first crafting gear complete it may not be long until next patch (with maybe new recipes, risen cap and maybe something with new relic?).
That's what your really working for, as all which is there now can be crafted with i150+170/180 mainhand(+food) i think.
Then it will be more easy (and useful) to obtain the gear and the market price for mats will drop and the gear slowly becomes available at market place, too.

I'll craft mostly the same stuff i did already last week and make money, it's still the same "fun".

Perhaps somebody should explain me what the actual "fun" at crafting/gathering was before HW? Was it all about DoW/M-gear, Kirimu-Coat and potions? Besides that, was there anything else which is now missing?
