    Yeah I've also been getting more frequent headaches after seeing the aura for too long to the point where I'd rather keep the aura off till I have to turn it on

    Yep I tend to get some headaches while playing with the aura on aswell, it gets worse when doing FATES with alot of Dark knights.

    Never said it shouldn't be changed, just trying to rationalize why it's probably not as simple as reverting it to the demo version. I wouldn't be too surprised if it was a bandage solution while they decide what to do.

    Adding the 50 quest aura would definitely be the easiest method(though I can't comment on its quality, since I haven't seen it in motion), but them redoing the particles from scratch and adding them in another 3.0X(ideally not as late as 3.1) is also possible.

    If i went around with battle effects on for everyone, i'd imagine i would get headaches.

    I'd rather modify the ongoing effect , and make it toggleable like every other battle effect.

We want the black flames SE you've already showed you have the stuff to do it so the issue you say that it would look weired is a terrible excuse. The living water is a good example that you can keep these animations while moving in effect. Also the flames on the crafted Ifrit weapons move around as you move I seen it so get to work.
