AF2 gear aesthetics.

Fantastic: SMN, PLD, DRK, BRD, DRG, MNK, SCH

Alright: WAR, NIN, AST, MCH

Fugly: WHM, BLM

SCH will probably grow on me, but that bookcoat is pretty out there.
SMN's gear is super nice and it's a shame SMN is third on my priority list for gear.
I was really looking forward to the AST set, but then they went and let rank 17 casuals like me wear the Owl sets and I just glamoured the hell out of that.

I notice there's a big love-or-hate thing going on with WHM's set. I think it looks pretty good - problem is that it's not as awesome as the AF1 WHM set.

I think its that damn skullcap. It turns it from this amazing looking robe and boots into a nuns outfit. Solution, glamour it or turn off the headpiece.

Not a big fan of hats to begin with.
I also don't find the skullcap looks that terrible, but then again, I'm a Lalafell, so things always look silly anyways.

Granted, I can't see much more than the hat in the teaser picture, though I remember not being impressed seeing most of the set on the npc in the level 60 blm quest, either.

I like every part of my WHM outfit except for my nun hat, the dress, shorts, boots and gloves all look good though. What's with that nun hat though >.>.

The hat sure is. I am not in a position where I can log in over the next few days so all I have to go off of what that guy was wearing, the lalafell in the patch note picture and the banner at the top of the forums. None of which are giving me much hope.

The PLD set looks like stage clothes more than anything I would wear to the battlefield. That huge decoration on the right chest. Doesn't it interfere with your sword wielding arm? I have no problem with skirts but over-elaborate decoration really makes it feel even more detached from reality, ruining the immersion. I seriously feel like I'm just a stage actor with that gear...

AST set is probably the best of all the jobs for me, although as usual sorcerer sets just look 100 times better on female. Maybe I should use Fantasia...
