    i personally rather like the red aura... i just wish it was more intense and visable... and more tight to the character and not a giant cloud of doom and gloom hanging around me...

    While I think those adjustments would help, I feel that keeping it solely red would make it still get lost in many of the other DRK ability VFX, particularly Salted Earth which has a swirly red cloud/bubble effect to it. If I was redesigning it, I personally would go with a black and purple combination for the effect.

    true but its definately better than haveing no aura (visual feedback) at all like some other thread was recommending...

    Agreed. I don't feel that getting rid of the effect is the proper solution. Making it so that it obeys filter settings like other VFX as well as improving it visually so that it looks more pleasing while providing better visual feedback for whether it is on or not is, imo, the goal that should be strived for.
