Will still be there. I'm not suggesting they never add new armors. What I would like, though, is the option to keep using the AF2. Shouldn't take much in the way of dev resources to add a few more upgrade items that give the existing AF2 an ilvl boost... when vertical progression inevitably marches on.
That's mostly what inspired this post. They said they didn't want to increase the amount of information attached to items (which would be needed for job specific glamors), so... I thought this might be a workable alternative.I wish we had an option to make glamoring job/class specific. I think that might be a hell of a lot easier to do than give all jobs new or even different variation of the current sets. That way when the new armor sets come out, rather than have all your, say, healers look the same, they can a least allow us to glamor them different while wearing the same set of gear and they can give us to dye the AF2 armor in 3.1 or 3.2.
