unfortunately you dont have the option to not dps, maybe around 3.15

i doubt faust will be the only one
Overall as a healer, even if minor, shouldn't be that hard to toss a dot or two on the enemies while healing your team. Though who knows, my statics is diving in as soon as I get off work.
Swapping into Cleric Stance to do so however, most of the time ends up being a liability in my experience.
My dots hit for piss without it. Might as well not waste the mana.
for faust our healers both did under 200 dps and it was fine. The stress on healer dps requirement is overstated as usual by the forum. mellee and caster dps = 1350-1400 and rest should be fine.

No one is forcing people to go into savage the day it comes out...You can take the time to get the best gear under savage before doing it. Then you wouldn't need that heal dps. It's only the people that think world first matters that it matters for i guess.
If you are a healer, you shouldn't be forced to throw dots up in a hard boss fight. Part of getting through those fights is minimizing risks. It is the DD's job to meet DPS checks. I will say, in my opinion, that using tight enrage mechanics without parsers is counterproductive. Part of the reason they got as tight as they are today is because players had access to addons.
