No, we dont. We jump though all kinds of technical hoops so we can have calls on the show, but not actually take them....
OF COURSE we want anyone/everyone to call in

After weeks of contentious end-game related shouting and discussion about the direction of Aniero’s angst and rage the crew dials it down a bit. They welcome on a very special guest, Fair Bear, who is brand new to FFXIV and MMOs. Fair Bear interviews the LBR crew with questions a brand new player might have, providing a unique point of view that the hosts haven’t experienced since their’ early years in MMOs. But don’t think that means there isn’t any salt! Kallo fucks up e-mails, Juxta is back with drops and even Eskalia provides some laughs.

Agreed. First time listener, and this was the episode I caught. Turned me off from wanting to listen in the future. When the rants went the way of "if you are casual then GTFO of the game", well... let us just agree to disagree. All Aniero did this week was complain and then when he was presented with an alternative he said it was just to drag out content. Either it's too easy or too hard. If there was only grey we would have a quiet podcast with less yelling about "stupid questions".
Now don't get me wrong. I found this podcast just the other week and have been binge listening to it when I play, at work, and during my commute. Each person has a unique point of view but a majority of the cast do share an "elitist" point of view although I'm sure they would deny it.
Listen for some laughs but expect to hear long time players gripe about all sorts of things.

What we suffer is "the curse of knowledge". For new people, most of the dungeons after level 24 is considered "intense". For us, we just don't understand why newbies do not "get the mechanic" when everything is spelled out for you right in front of your screen... For them Brayflox is HARD ("you want me to Esuna all of you? move out of the way? and cure three people???), Sunken Temple is "ZOMG WTF was that", Cutter's Cry was "intense" and Titan "baby trial" was "fck this, I swear I ran and out of the train track from hell".

Limit Break Radio hits you, once again, with a unique and interesting topic which was actually brought up by a LBR listener who emailed in a few weeks back. Join the crew as they share their thoughts on raid anxiety and what might be able to do to help alleviate that feeling if you are one of the many people afflicted with raid anxiety. We take a bunch of your very insightful calls and your own tips for reducing raid anxiety and even catch up with Rob, who makes sure to plug his Twitch channel. Also, Nika shares her thoughts about Alexander Savage and we read as many of your emails and we possibly can!
