This patch dropped the ball hard

I don't know where to begin with this, it's almost like they didn't learn. Nobody wants a 450 cap limit that takes month to gear toward, subsequently not everyone wants to do the hardest content available to upgrade said gear. With the fact that 190 gear JUST came out 2 weeks ago no one is even fully geared with that yet, the game is too flooded and too restricted in my eyes to be enjoyable. I don't know how anybody else feels, but to me this is a subscription breaker.

It gives you something to work toward. I don't get the idea behind complaining at too many ways to gear up. It's better than only two options.

Wouldn't be a bad thing if like I said it wasn't too restricted. If you go with esoteric gear you're forced into doing Savage Alex to upgrade it to be on terms with upgraded Alex gear. Which in turn has to be acquired through another weekly restriction. There is no fun in having to wait a week just to do this.

I guarantee you all content besides coil is doable in i170 gear. If you don't do the hardest content, there is 100% no reason to have gear above i170 BESIDES GLAMOUR, and said gear will be easier to get once the big raid race is over and 3.1 drops. Stop complaining, or suck it up and get the gear. All it does for non raiders is cover up for lack of ability anyway.

Sure is, maybe not for everyone.

Lame. That line is used way to often. No one ask for everything to be done in a day or a week.

Oh and btw people will be saying there isn't anything to do soon. Savage is going to lock out 85% of the player base, 450 tomes that won't take long and we're back to 2.0 all over again.

I'm enjoy getting new things to work with. I didn't login for 3 days because I had nothing to do beside waiting for Alex weekly reset.

Very few groups should be clearing Alex Savage in anywhere close to the first 3 weeks of 3.05 (5 weeks after 3.01). Most statics should only be getting their first A1 Savage clears once the are full kitted out in i190 and armed with i200 weapons.

This was very intelligently done and designed so that people maintain their subscriptions in order gear up.
