Well, considering the current prices of dark matter with GC seals, I doubt they'd be that cheap. I'm not logged in now, so I can't check if the list I have is outdated because they've lowered the prices, but the one I have state that the prices are as follow:

5x Grade 1 Dark Matters 60 Seals
5x Grade 2 Dark Matters 170 Seals
5x Grade 3 Dark Matters 350 Seals
5x Grade 4 Dark Matters 690 Seals
5x Grade 5 Dark Matters 1,150 Seals

I don't think the Grade 6 Dark Matters would be cheap, judging by those prices. Priced in line with those (heck, even compared to the Grade 4 and 5 Dark Matters), it'd be better to buy Coke at 200 Seals a piece, then turn around and sell those on the Marketboard and buy Dark Matter with the gil you make from that.

That is far too low considering the grade 5 is 1150 seals, grade 6 will most likely be around 1500.

This is something they should really look to update. If I remember right, those old seal costs for Dark Matter were unchanged after the significant reduction in gil cost for the repair materials in an early patch. In other words, they were reflected upon a much higher price tag of said items. What's sad is that it's even more than that outrageous 1500 assumption lol. 1725 seals for 5 of them... that's really bad... it translates to 600 gil lol.

Personally I'm fine with them being almost 2k per 5. Currently I'm constantly hitting the cap for GC seals all the time and I just plain don't have much that I am willing to buy. Already bought all the furnishings, bardings, minions, and such from my current GC and the gear / weapons I don't need to buy. I've been just wasteing seals on the 20k Bombard Cores so I have a small stockpile of them for when I get around to doing more Relic stuff but really if you do the turn ins for your GC daily then you get the seals back oh so very fast.

Well, to be fair I was judging it would be closer to 2k. Like 19xx something. Since the previous increases have been just slightly below double the previous tier (apart from grade 1 to 2).

The problem with that is that it would absolutely leave no gil sinks in the game. There's a reason why they removed dark matter from gathering.
