I'm well aware of this, but I mean from a character standpoint! We've done and sacrificed and fought so much, but the only type of thanks we get is just that? A "thank you"? And these other members that seldom do anything other than walk and talk (and I'm not trying to bash the characters, but it's how I'd feel if I was my own character) keep giving each other pats on the back and get presents and neat little outfits?


If I was my character, I'd probably cry myself to sleep every day... "Why does nobody love me!? WHYYYYYYYYY!!!!" *sniff* *sniff*

I have to agree I was quite bummed Tataru didn't give me an outfit - first off I'm the person killing all the primals and saving the day. I deserve a damn outfit.

I actually felt the same thing, more or less.

Tataru making all those fancy dresses for Y'shtola and Alphinaud, yet we who KEEP KILLING PRIMALS AND FIGHTING ON THEIR BEHALF get nothing.

I came to the forum and searched for a long time just to find a thread to complain about this xD
I mean, hey, I'm fine not having the goggles or the tattoo or any of that, because it's a SHARLAYAN thing, not a scion thing. But the new outfits? They are something entirely different. Tataru made them for her FRIENDS, for the people she cares for

and is glad to see again after all the crazy stuff that happened in 2.55, so those clothes are basically her "I'm glad you are still alive!" message

and we are the only one who doesn't get any?!

I feel more like a errand boy than a member of the Scions in 2.0 to 2.X because everytime there is some kind of problem the Scions always say "Hey WoL! Go get this done for us while we wait back here."

I can understand primals being a issue for not going with us but most of their world issues beyond Primals ends up becoming our job to handle most of the time.

There was one scene in HW (besides the obvious) where I actually started to tear up. When you had to collect the food to lure out the Gnants and Ysayle, Alphinaud and Estinien actually divvy up the duties. It just...made me feel like I was actually on a team, y'know?

As of 3.0 Alphinaud seems to be the only Scion that actually helps us the most now.

Hopefully when the other Scions return they get their act together and actually help the WoL with tasks that doesn't require the Blessing of Light.

(I'm still wondering when Alisaie will become physically involved in the MSQ again though.)
