I think the issue the OP is worried about is not this, but that the speed-runnin' vets will kick the newbie hoping for another vet replacement and a faster run, because the new player bonus doesn't mathematically measure up to the efficiency of a faster run.
Fortunately, players with the kind of mentality that would endorse this kind of abuse are actually pretty rare. In reality, the reaction to a new player in a dungeon tends to be positive and helpful; players are happy to help out a newbie, and the bonus is simply icing on the cake. You'd never know it by reading all the doom 'n gloom on the forums, though; just as in real life news, folks rarely bother to report GOOD things that happen, just the bad.
