    That is not how depth of field works. There should be almost no blur at all, unless the object you're looking at is right in front of your face. That thing looks almost like when I take my glassess off, except it's some kind of weird graduaded blurring. Reduce the effect by about 95% on majority of the cases it's maybe okay.

    Erm ... Just a comparison :




    Notice something?

    The difference between the two Pictures is clearly, the first one (FFXIV) uses a weaker Depth of Field, the second one uses a stronger Depth of Field which is more concentrated near the Person.

    Mine in FFXIV is concentrated to blur things more further away from my Character and not directly in the front or back.
