My Concerns/Ideas for the Pet Glamour System

For the confusion part, it could easily be fixed with putting an icon near the pet name or a different color name or even keeping the original name next to glamour one.

I do agree it should be any egi glamour. Although Carbuncles come in multiple colors as is. Another way it might be done is by glow... Like despite being ice and DPS, replacing a Garuda egi with Leviathan, it would still have a green aura? Not as aesthetically satisfying this way though.

I kinda hope they don't go with auras. I just want Levi-egi to be something I'll actually use. :/ I never use Titan-egi, except when leveling.

Symbols with the pet names would work best, I think. A sword for a melee pet, a staff for a caster pet and a shield for a tank pet.

The way they've been wording things sounds as if they're going to try to make it so so you're able to glamour any egi to any egi. Even the current ones.

Like:

Shiva->Ifrit
Shiva->Titan
Shiva->Garuda
Ifrit-> Garuda
Ifrit-> Titan
Etc....

That's just what i've gathered anyway.

I feel like they will restrict them to class types i.e ranged, melee, tank, with Ramuh, Leviathan, and Shiva respectively. I only say this because of how restricted the current glamour systems is for our armor. I also highly doubt that they will put that much effort into making an animation to fit all three egis but feel free to prove me wrong. Biggest concern is that they just reuse the models of some egis in game like the Ramuh adds for example.

This is just a prediction but I think that it will not be gated but instead will require a few quests to unlock. Anything else would just increase forum traffic and flood the boards with "SMN GLAMOUR SUX.....blah blah blah"

I'd more expect the pet glamours to be a cash shop exclusive or something stupid like that.
