Stop crying people. There are plenty of ways to get materials. It isn't hard to level a BTN/MNR/FSH, or any craft for that matter. Got those leves use them. Got those retainers leveled up, use them. I send my retainers out. Need skin and yaks milk or w/e.

Want those Mythrite Nuggets? BSM/GSM/ARM can make them at level 50, takes 5 sands and a mythril ore. A level 50 MNR can got that in no time.

The problem is the massive imbalance between classes. Yes, mythril nuggets are incredibly easy to farm. I can easily make 2 or 3 stacks of nuggets per hour with no problem. How long does it take to get 2 or 3 stacks of archaeoleather, which is an item equal to mythril nuggets in usage?

3 skins per leather, farmed at a rate of 30-40 per hour manually, 10 per hour from retainer. Let's be generous and say I get 50 skins per hour this way. That's 16 leather per hour. Also factor in that the Coethan Tea Leaves only spawn at 35 minute intervals, but you CAN get 25 of those in one attempt.

So 16 archaeskins in the same time I can make 200 mythril nuggets, cedar lumber, or rainbow thread. See the problem now?

Adjust the drop rate for the skin problem solved. Think they did that to Fleece way back when.

I'm going give you a tip, Stop leveling your crafts and go and level either MNR or BTN ( I hate Fishing). You'll have all the Gil you need to fund all your crafting classes. There are so many low level items that are selling for 300gil+ each.

And Exal has undercutters that like to drop prices on common mats by 90% ...

You can make all your own starter gear 60 gear once you have everything at 60. The best gear will be released in a couple days will take red scrips to buy which are capped on a weekly lockout.

If it can't be melded and doesn't get you to caps, it won't be BiS.

I'm also on Excalibur, sure there are under cutters, but a lot of high end crafts are calling for low level items. Not going to name them cause I'm making decent gil. Level your MNR, should take you like 4 days to hit 60.

I'm assuming most of the people with complaints didn't craft in FFXI. Cause if you did you would know that crafting in FFXIV is super easy.
