They made their own thread because they didn't like the results they were seeing in the previous thread where all of their points were nullified and they kept throwing new arguments to support the pro-VIT mentality and completely fail to realize that there's a time and place for everything. But hey...tanks are meant to turtle and nothing more. Right?

Hahaha, yeah, I saw the malarkey going on there. I agree with your points, both have a place and time, and given the chance, I also max out DPS where I can when able to.

but if you play other class you'll have to deal with these crybaby tanks and try not to make them angry/make sure everything goes the way they want.

You're probably a bad tank if you don't adapt to the situation. If you have good DPS, great healers, and are geared well on your left side, then it's probably best to STR yourself out on the right. If you're new-ish to progression, or doing something for the first time, or in an iffy DF group, it's probably better to swap to VIT accessories. Certain fights or duties might require more VIT. A good tank will have both sets of accessories and will adjust accordingly to the situation.
