    Do not keep old PvP maps behind when the new one is implemented.

    Hello,
    I just wanted to say that I hope that when the new map is implemented, the old maps will have same iLvl and Lvl ceiling as the new map to be still viable.

    When secure came, everyone stopped doing Wolves Den. When Slaughter came, people rather did that than Secure, because it was faster and it offered same reward.

    There really is no point of adding new maps and modes if they almost completely remove the will to do the old ones. In that way PvP would never expand.

    Wolves den population didnt really change much when secure was added, the only thing that changed for me was that when slaughter was added, i stopped doing FL because it was utter tripe

    I see what you want, but unfortunately the new frontlines will kill Slaughter just as Slaughter did kill Secure before.

    It will, but there is no need for that. I mean yeah, initialy people will run the new map just because it will be.. new.
    But if they atleast add the same item level, same rewards, same level sync + introduce the new map into frontline roulette + maybe add higher bonuses to map with longer fights, in 2 or 3 months people could play all of them rather than selecting just one.

    Thats true. But you have to concider something here. Since they new mode will be "new", everyone is going to play it and the queues will be quick for it. And this is going to be etched in every players mind, so they will always prefer the new mode, no matter if it has same rewards/requirements. Only way to counter that is to inqrease the rewards on the old maps, but this is obviously not going to happen.

    Another way would be that they going to make the roulette a "real" random roulette. By now, there isnt a random mechanic behind the roulette system. They just put you in a group wich needs players. Taking this in mind and saying you want to get secure with roulette, someone else would have to solo queue for secure before. And its obvious that the amount of players wich only picking secure is a huge minority. Thats the reason why you only get slaughter in roulette. To counter this, they could remove the option to directly queue for any of the frontlines modes and only allow players to queue for frontlines roulette. This way they could make it 100% random and they would still have the whole pvp community available without splitting them into different game modes.

    More than not updating the old ones to current ilvl/level, i think the issue has more to do with the fact that they just seem to keep pumping out 72man maps when the pvp community is barely large enough (or even interested enough ) to keep one active.
    Most other mmos with larger pvp communities don't just keep pushing for just large scale battlegrounds, most of the ones they have or introduce are small scale (8-10man total), yet SE seems to either not give a crap or likes to see their old FL maps/modes completely barren, maybe it's also to keep it in line with the lore, after all, the conflicts have to end at one point ...

    Remove all PvP, and recreate it. Lore? Say a meteor wiped out the maps.

    Tbh though it is kinda sad imo, that slaughter will die (it is already dead). 72 was a mess, but 24 was quite fun. Opposite with secure, but 72 secure is a reality that will never ever happen again. It is beyond dead.

    It's kinda odd to see a completely dead option in the duty finder. Why is it even there? Like I said. Remove 'em. If you need a lore reason just say the maps are down for pest control or something lol.

    This will actually be needed in the future if the only thing that makes peolpe PvP is new content. Remove old maps and add new ones. Too many dead maps is a waste of space.
