    I want to know who was trying to invade Ala Mhigo prior to Garleans? I'm pretty sure these nation(s) ended up being conquered and assimilated into Garlean military.

    I want to know what Ala Mhigo's technology was like since the Garleans are using them as their engineers. It took the Eorzean Alliance 80yrs ago to push back Ala Mhigo, so just imagine them if Garlemald chose direct combat with them?

    Based on little tidbits we know that Eorzean magic can greatly harm their magitek reapers/ machines (that's why Nero invanted the Gold-plating in CM), plus monks, whatever technology they had at the time and the fact that they have experience in invading/defending against invasion.
