If you decide to pee in the middle of street and feel perfectly comfortable, do you also need to ask all the people on the street whether they are ok with it, in order to figure out they are not? Common sense please.

It just so happens that I do heal in DF quite often & I prefer my tanks in full slaying. In fact, up to Heavensward release I got annoyed if they used their tank stance for anything but Akh Morn. Being bad at the game doesn't mean you get to force everyone else to stack VIT to make you feel better.
You know what makes a tank easier or harder to heal... skill. Vit vs Str accessories really don't matter.
Using Cooldowns properly and dodging mechanics is far more important than which accessories you are wearing.
Hoarders gonna Horde.
You can do every single dungeon in this game in full slaying, no grit and even the most mediocre healer should be able to keep you alive if you play your tank properly. Only problem with no tank stance is lack of enmity if your dps are actually decent.
It just happens I have WHM and PLD on 60 and as a healer I had tank with 12500 HP in STR gear in A4, what can I say - he died couple of times faster than I could get off single cure on him, because he was simply lacking HP to do what tanks usually do there (eating 5-6 orbs without incoming heals, taking a hit after discoid before first heal). DF groups are not statics where people don't do so many mistakes, in DF you have dps standing in poop etc. When it comes to choosing among tank death, myself or death of 3 other dps, I let the stupid tank die. He was there to tank not dps, his dps was not contributing to anything there, since A4 does not have tight dps check at all. He was just putting more stress on me and the other healer.

That may be a bad analogy, most people probably don't want to see other people peeing in the streets.. Lol
The reason he died was not because of lack of VIT gear. Either (1) He was bad and didn't use cooldowns properly or (2) he didn't get healing he was supposed to get. And why is the tank not getting heals when tanking 5-6 orbs? Bad healer? It just happens I have WHM and PLD on 60 and as a healer I had tank with 12500 HP in STR gear in A4, what can I say - he died couple of times faster than I could get off single cure on him, because he was simply lacking HP to do what tanks usually do there (eating 5-6 orbs without incoming heals, taking a hit after discoid before first heal). I understand that it's DF and most everyone is bad but DPS on tank actually does matter, even in A4. Clearing faster means that you need to go through less boss rotations in last phase which eliminates reduces the chance of making mistakes. Also the perpetual rays after discoid increases in number of hits each rotations so if dps is bad and the boss isn't dying then the tank is going to take increasing amounts of damage.
Most of the time healers in DF/PF healers aren't going to dps so good tanks should just go full STR, do like 150 more dps, and properly mitigate incoming damage despite their lower health pool. If you have 13K health and take 8K damage, you need 8K healed back. If you put on more VIT and have 16K health and take 8K damage, you still need 8K healed back. As long as the tank is mitigating properly and not getting 1 shot, STR gear is fine.
Nothing in a4 can drop a tank from 12k to 0 before a cure can go off, unless you are dealing with extremely bad players.
Orbs are so spread out that I don't have to miss a GCD and still eat three of them. There is at least 3 seconds between each.
Perpetual Ray should be mitigated and harmless.
I've become convinced since heavensward that tanks just like to torment healers. I despise running dungeons on healer specifically because of tanks like this. 20% more incoming damage throughout the whole dungeon is incredibly stressful as a healer, and it forces me to do nothing but babysit the tank the entire run. Tanks don't need to stack all vit but for god's sake why do I have to play dungeons at peak performance like it's progression raiding just because the tank doesn't want to turn on a tanking stance. It would be nice if every tank played a healer first so they could see what it's like. At some point you're just being a jerk to your healers.
