You can't mine Aether...You can mine aether-infused sand and materials but you can't mine pure energy.

What if you would be able to unleash the energy of aether and store it right after that?

Its not as easy as that. You spend 40 seconds running from the Idyllshire Aetheryte or 1 minute going from Anyx Trine in the Forelands. This is more than enough time for a hunt group to pull the mob during peak hours and kill it before you get there. Hell, you can miss the 2AM unspoiled node in Hinterlands because of this as well.

If you are in Anyx Trine when a mob pops up in the Hinterlands, you don't deserve the hunt credit sorry to say. Even if you are relaxing in Idyllshire, you are using 2nd hand knowledge from people who actually hunt. I hate to sound mean, but that's life. Only people who deserve the credit for the hunt is the person/people there at the mob who actually spent the time hunting instead of doing something else. If you want the rare gathering nodes, do what most people do: camp the area where it spawns so you're ready for it.

Set your HP in Idyllshire and spend the whole "40" seconds it takes to zone to the Hinterlands. It won't kill you.

If you mean that shard down the steps, than that is impossible because it's part of a quest. Now if there's a big one that I don't know about, well, I still say it's sounds like a personal problem.

I don't understand what the problem is? It's too much trouble to zone from Idyllshire to the Hinterlands? It's too hard to get to a hunt from Idyllshire? Just fly to the hunt mob.

Why would you load two zones when you can load just one?

Anyroad, I'm sure it will be changed to make going into and out of Idyllshire. It was mentioned in the LL that they will be doing this in the near future and even allow mounts to be accessible in the shire. Personally, I like that its separated since everyone who's lived through 2.0 mor doughnuts knows how ridiculous the chat can be.

But but.... I want to go Afk on my new shiny uber rare mount in the middle of the way so i could feel special rubbing it in peoples faces.

Pretty sure that they will have us fix the Aetheryte in 3.1 or a later storyline. Much like Mor Dhona was improved over several major patches.
