I'm not sure how "low" the graphic settings are already on the PS3, if it's even possible to lower them further, to up the FPS? or atleast give the choice to do so.

I don't think that it is possible to lower them.

You can turn off certain graphics under character options.

yeah, i know that, but thank's anyway. It's just that in some fight's, especially with the "Tree's", the FPS goes pertty much to like 1-5.
Might be time to accept your 10+ year old console just can't operate effectively on higher tier games in 2015.
I would recommend an upgrade first. If not possible, then remove all flying text and names above heads as well, it will free up some RAM so the background effects won't slow you as much.
I am sorry, but there is no way around this. I played on PS3 until a few weeks before Heavensward, and there are simply certain things that the PS3 cannot render properly. I would only see Cereberus during half my World of Darkness runs, and Nael's animations always came in late and skipped several frames; I had to rely on where other people moved and simply memorize the timing to heal them correctly. I eventually had to just upgrade to PS4, and even ARR felt like a brand new game afterwards. Otherwise, many enemies and some areas will cause massive frame rate drops or, if your internet lags a little, a DC.
Snowcloak, I'm looking at you.
And if someone asked Detoxy a car related question...

As for FPS... I think S.E. should add a way to disable the wind and other weather effects for the PS3. These seem to really impact the frame rate.
