    WHM DPS Rotation

    In the ideal situation where you are on a single target boss, what is your rotation?

    I was testing

    Aero III > Aero II > Aero > Assize > Stone III > refresh Aeros > Fluid Aura > etc

    It seems like WHM doesn't have enough time on trial boss to put out high numbers.

    P.s. Small ask, does divine seal/presence of mind effect spells cast while the buff is active or when the spell is cast? Like if I case Cure II when I have divine seal up but it fades before the end of my cast will I still get a bonus?

    I personally go Aero III > Aero II > Stone III, mixing in Aero whenever I wanna pop oGCD (Fluid Aura, Assize, Shroud), switch out of Cleric Stance, or move out of boss AoE.

    To your PS question, in that particular situation, the Cure II will not gain the benefit of Divine Seal.
    BTW, Presence of Mind does not increase Spell Speed anymore, its a flat 20% casting speed reduction, so it'll not affect the potency of HoT and DoTs.

    PoM will affect it on start cast since it affects cast time. Unsure about Divine Seal but I think it affects it after the spell goes off.

    My current perception of the best burst opener on any given boss in Alexander Normal is Aero III - Aero II - Aero - Assize - Swiftcast - Stone III - Presence of Mind - Shroud of Saints - Stone III and DoT refresh until shroud and presence wear off. Cursory testing has a pretty good burst of DPS straight off the bat, and you immediately put Shroud and Assize on cooldown. Even better, with proper execution you shouldn't lose any MP ticks.

    Obviously it depends on the group, but this should be pretty safe and no major healing arises within this opener duration even in the hardest fights currently in the game. Admittedly, a serious mistake can disrupt that but what can you do?

    I'm still evolving it to some degree, and it may not work for everyone due to OGCD latency.

    Don't forget Fluid Aura. You can pair it in with any other off-GCD ability and you will gain damage as long as you don't lose more than about 75% of a GCD. Hell, you could probably put three oGCD after an Aero and still come out ahead.

    What I do is:

    Aero -> Fliud Aura + Assize + Presence of MInd (While in GCD) -> Aero II -> Aero III -> Stone III (3x) -> Aero -> Aero II -> Stone III.......

    A3 -> A2 -> A1 -> Swiftcast -> Holy -> Assize -> Fluid Aura
    (I try to get both in one ogcd, I lose a small amount of time but putting Fluid on cooldown is more of a dps increase than waiting for ogcd)

    Aero 1 do less damage than stone 3. so i think it is only worth using to save some mana or while you have to move.

    Aero 2 was buffed with Heavensward, bringing the DoT potency from 160 to 200, so it's 250 total now.

    I genuinely hope you don't do that for single targets. I'm recoiling in horror over the fact of spending nearly 1'200 more MP for 10 less Potency than Stone III.
