Libra App update

Any ETA on when the next update for the Libra Eorzea app will be available? I really miss scrolling through items and recipes.

Also, saw this on the Libra page:

Yes, we are getting a better app that is more closely linked to our accounts. It will have greater functionality (supposedly) and it should also come with Tetra Master that is linked to our account among many other new features they have been working on. I cant recall all the details but I can update this post if I find the sources.

EDIT:

We should be getting a linkshell type app where we can communicate with players both in game and out of the game

The App will be called Final Fantasy Portal and be linked to a lot more than just FFXIV. Follow this link and scroll down to just below the pic of Triple Triad for a few details.

A Quick blurb on the app

I'm sure there are more little details about what it will be about and it looks like they are developing it in a way they can keep upgrading and adding to it as time goes by. I'm hoping to get some retainer management features and possibly some Chocobo breeding minigames or Housing/FC management options.

Hope this at least kind of answers your questions, I know its not very detailed. If you or someone you know is somewhat familiar with Japanese, they could always go to the Japanese sites to see reviews and details on the app since it is already released over there. I remembered hearing about this many moons ago and when I did I figured we wouldnt see any further support of the Libra App, I actually already deleted mine.

Will Libra continue to function as a security key or do we need to transition that to the new app when it's released?

The security token has it's own app.
