Will we ever see Ranger or Samurai?

I'll be honest, I do have hopes for Samurai but I base that off of the first level 60 dungeon. The first boss, his movements, his stance remind me of a Samurai, but I could also just be overly hopeful. I do agree I would love an actual sword class that didn't involve tanking. Redmage is probably my last hope if they include rapiers.

Same. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm kind of tired of SE's thinking in XIV "Does it have a sword or heavy armor? Then it's a tank!" -.- I'd love to have a sword using or heavy armor wearing melee

I think that stance was meant as an alternate stance for two handed sword for drk. I wish we'd gotten that battle stance instead of drk's current one, I really don't like it.

Well the game right now has what? 3 tanks, 3 healers, 4 ranged dps (2 magical, 2 physical), and 3 melee dps (all physical). If they wanted to even it out they'd have to add another tank, another healer, and another melee dps class. Only things I can think of offhand that would differentiate, make a "ranged" tank like swtor has, a healer that specializes in hots, and a melee dps with a two handed weapon or one that uses melee and magic together.
