Pet glamour for SMN?

I think the glamours are fine - they have the right idea - increase the effectiveness of each egi archtype while expanding the feeling of the job.

I'd be fine with even 1 glamour for each role + the 3 carbys.
Something like shiva or titan, garuda or ramuh, and ifrit or leviathan.

Inb4 its just carbuncles

RIGHT?!!? My head hurts thinking about this crap, I look at several other games with classes like Summoners, and they have no problem making multiple pets for those classes, even if some are carbon copies with new skins and minor ability differences.

I know people are going to cry wah wah people are going to use the best one, wah wah wah. Yes the elite min/maxers will always use the best ANYTHING, even if gear makes them look like a stupid homeless moogle trust me they will use it for that +10 dps

On my Warlock in Warcraft I often switched between whatever demon I wanted to have out cause I got tired of looking at one, all of them have minor differences in abilities but they all do about the same in terms of DPS.

Sooo.... Garuda glamoured into Leviathan (for example) doesn't give you what you want how again? It actually gives you everything you want... You are just being awkward because you have a chip on your shoulder over something.

You should be grateful SE has responded to the complaints on only having 3 summons by coming up with a solution that suits everyone (well reasonable people), even if you have to wait for implementation... Yet here you are still complaining.

It really is no wonder people are starting to think of SMN's as a bunch of whiners tbh -_-

To be fair, I have been waiting for the ability to use the Carbuncles as SMN the entire of ARR and am still waiting in Heavensward ...

To be fair, SE originally had a different idea on how they were going to tackle implementing new Egi. People seem to be forgetting (or are unaware) that originally a Ramuh Egi was going to available at the release of ARR (2.0) alongside Ifrit, Titan and Garuda. However due to the balancing issues that already existed with the original trio and no substantial unique role for Ramuh to fill, his release was pushed back. With the plan of releasing him in a subsequent patch or expansion.

However it became clear not only to SE but to everyone that this situation was never really going to change and Ramuh's Egi model has just been left floating in the data ever since 2.0.

So SE devised the glamour system, not only to bring us one new Egi (Ramuh) but to give us an Egi of all the Primals, as well as the return of Carbuncles. Had SE planned this glamour system from the beginning then we would already have these new Egi.

The moral of the story is sometimes things don't always go to plan and changes have to be thought out and implemented, and for that patience is required. This should go without saying though...

What is interesting however is the possibilities this glamour system opens up. An Egi of each Primal we fought (Levi, Ramuh, Shiva, Bismarck, Ravana) is obvious. However what of the more elusive Primals such as Alexander, Phoenix, Belias, KOTR. Since these glamours are essentially nothing more than just comprehensive visual changes, then the possibility for SMN to aquire Egi of these Primals is far more justifiable.
