So good healers grind your gears?
Idiot.
So good healers grind your gears?
Idiot.
Grinding for gear grinds my gears. Grinding for gear also grinds my gear and costs a lot for repairs.

I have a problem with Healers DPSing, but only because most of them put that ahead of healing the group. "Is the tank at full health? I should DPS. Who cares if the rest of the group is down below half." If a healer can actually manage to do it competently and keep everyone at full health, then I'm perfectly fine with it. But particularly since I've started playing MCH and don't have access to ANY self healing besides potions, I've begun to notice just how many healers only heal the tank unless a big party wide attack hits, because they're too focused on DPSing. Mistakes happen, and sometimes attacks line up so that you can't dodge one AoE without getting hit by another. Yet half the healers I've seen act like, "if you got hit you must suck, so you can die"....
In my opinion, if you're healing, then your priority should be, well, healing. Throwing DPS in from time to time is fine, so long as you don't make it your main focus....

I dislike people who complain about healer DPS even if no one in their party dies. They complain because a party members HP gets low. Because they don't understand that good healers know when they need to top people off.
Healers dpsing?
Aren't people currently using Scholars to pass dps checks?
Other than that, when i'm on my AST, i usually like to throw out an aspected benefic on the tank, switch to cleric stance, and throw out my dots and some malefics or gravities. My eyes never leave the health bars, though, so i can quickly switch out of cleric stance if need be.
A little extra damage doesn't do any harm, and a good healer knows their limits.
Personally, I always gauge my tank's ability first before deciding if i would lend any support dps.
Gated classes...
There is just no reason for it.

I dislike when a healer is terrible at their job, you know, healing, then blames people dying on the dps lol Seriously, I was doing Neverreap a week ish ago with 2 fc members and this whm we ended up with was pretty bad >_> Full law gear etc, but couldn't cure for crap. She'd stand in AoEs and fell off on the last boss multiple times. Then she proceeds to yell at us how somehow its our fault she died, so I decide to speak up and say how the dps aren't the reason she's dying. She flips out with "Oh so you're blaming ME?!" lol Fc member gives a good comeback, she leaves, we got a new healer, instantly won.
Then today, another healer in Sohm Al. She couldn't keep up with healing when the tank pulled more than 3 mobs. Tank dies, healer proceeds to give up and stand there with only 2 mobs left, with me and the drg still alive. Doesn't heal us or anything, so we both die, then she dies and goes "I was almost out of mp" >_> She had 4k mp left... So, we get to the final boss and she stands ontop of the comets, instantly dies. Proceeds to complain at us for "dps shouldn't place it on the healer" so I mention how she can move out of it and she says she doesn't have time, so I told her to sprint >_> Flips out telling me if I'm going to be b----y, she can just leave >_> Really?
I swear, healers think they're better than people and if they die, its someone else's fault, even if they suck at keeping people alive (when no one's in an AoE) lol :/
>_> Also, tanks who pull everything when the two dps we have, can't really AoE at all. So then we sit there fighting 7+ mobs at once, single target, running out of tp since no downtime between pulls. Tanks, if you have two mnks (yeah some AoE, but not spamable), think before you pull a mass amount.

Melee DPS who don't ever once LB during the entire run, thus forcing me when I'm on a ranged non-mage DPS class to LB when my LB is the lowest in damage.
For the love of the Twelve, if you are a melee, please use your Limit Break.

Just so you know, everyone doesn't have to be at full HP at all times. If a healer knows it's safe, and DPS are actually doing their job AVOIDING stuff, and the tank is keeping aggro, keeping everyone not topped, yet alive, is basically the same thing, and allows us to dps more.I have a problem with Healers DPSing, but only because most of them put that ahead of healing the group. "Is the tank at full health? I should DPS. Who cares if the rest of the group is down below half." If a healer can actually manage to do it competently and keep everyone at full health, then I'm perfectly fine with it.
