I found a graphical bug with the Bismarck gun and Gauss Barrel. I assume the bug applies to all guns that fold up. The gun retracts, but the Gauss Barrel stays put and floats in the air.

Will be "looked at" in 5.0...
Please look forward to it!~
I'm a smn and I don't see why they are even giving glamour to them I think its ridiculous. I mean smn pets look good like they are imho. But whatever floats others boats I guess. And until they get it they will rip and tear everyone who so much as gets anything that's a QoL change. I mean, I can't verify that personally, I'm not a summoner, but I have decent perception.
I can understand the design of it, anyway. They couldn't do an extended barrel because the shape of the barrel on different gun models isn't the same. Some are larger than others, like the giantsgall knifelock.
Tbh im more dissapointed with the gear sets. I know MCH share with BRD but all the gear seem to suit BRD and a bit off with MCH.
It always float up in the air anyway, it's an electrostatic attachment (hence the name Gauss ) so it can fly by magnetism.
Have you even looked at it? It has a wrench and spare shells strapped to the top and is essentially a toolbox containing the parts to our Turrets and the Gauss Barrel itself. Not to mention the cylinder on the front with what looks like fuel gauge on top.Yea GB look hideous. The attachment does not fit well with most guns. I also hate the MCH left sided box. Why not have 3 small Allagan looking orbs tide together with a leather rope that hangs off the side? The box looks to much like a SMN/SCH book. I feel the designer team didn't put a lot of effort in to this.
It looks like a toolbox to me. Nothing like a SMN/SCH book outside the fact they both sit on the hip ... You can even see the clasps on top right/left where the box would open.
TBH, They put a surprising amount of effort into the little details on it. Yeah it'd be nice if we had unique ones based on our Gun, but I'm ok with the one we got.

Would more aesthetically pleasing if Gauss Barrel was a silencer instead of a cog stuck at the end of your gun.
It'd still at least be nice to have different model/fanny packs for some of the big-themed guns, like primals or at least the AF one of all things. The default pack/gauss barrel looks so out if place when you're using something like shiva gun (or even Ferdiandy)Have you even looked at it? Actually, I'd love the option to hid the lunchbox. I can turn Gauss off when I'm just standing around, but the lunchbox is forever (assuming I want my gun visible).

I'm really glad other players are feeling the same way I am. I've actually never posted on the forums before but, I was feeling more and more recently like I'd like the ability to hide the Gauss Barrel. I love Machinist but, that's my only (small) gripe about the job. Some of these guns look really cool and I love the look of Ferdinand but, to me at least, it ruins the look of the gun by having this big ridiculous 'hook' on the end of my gun that doesn't look like it fits. My friend was joking it makes my guns look like they're a hook gun or something.
