The folklore tomes of fishing?

Hi.
Do these provide any fish that are useful for culinarians? I'm contemplating whether or not I wanna grind for 3 more books after I'm done with both the miner and botanist ones. I really hope they are useless .

so far to my knowledge they have not shown any particular use.
You could still speculate that they will be involved in Red-Scripts or some have Desynthesis results that have not been found yet. Certainly involvement in new future recepies is not out of the question either, but no, none so far.

The Coerthas folklore book for fishing has the Spring Urchin in it, which is used a cooking recipe (accuracy food). I wouldn't really say it's worth it though (need two per craft, and they're not exactly common).

This. Even the miner/bot books are pretty much useless right now because there are no recipes which use the items you can obtain at the moment. I highly doubt that SE would implement this system to make us farm up the books to get items that have no use whatsoever. I'm guessing next week is going to drop a ton of new items that will use the gathering book items to make.
