See, this is where your not making sense. Your telling us what WAR and what DRK are, and frankly, your talking out your ass. Your just like all those fools claiming CON was gonna be BLM just because they had elemental nukes. Well they had to have some kind of damage.

And here you are telling us what WAR and DRK are before they are released??? Seriously???

How hypocritical is it to say "I mean crap people, you are actually complaining about DRK not being from MRD.... BEFORE IT'S EVEN ANNOUNCED!"
Then to sit here like some fool and tell us what jobs are and how they fit one class more then another ??? Please tell us where the devs posted there definition and design og WAR and DRK in FFXIV, cause only a fool would continue to make the same unintelligent assumptions they did about conjurers being BLK just to learn they are to be WHM.

DRK was an option the devs CLEARLY posted as a job, WAR wasn't.......

let me revise this foolishness here:
MRD is like WAR(was in some other game without an armoury system) since they both use(d) a Great Axe,(and) have(had) defensive abilities and tank.
MRD is like(I illogically assume DRK would be because I don't have the good sense to know this isn't FFXI) DRK since they can cure from damage dealt and have weapons with a long delay, and can build a lot of enmity.

There's no reason to revise what I said.
If you look back you'll see I said you "can make the case" meaning I'm not stating facts, just making a case based on previous job traits. Dark Knights have always been self inflicting blood suckers and seeing as MRD has Bloodbath and Godsbane down the road, you can make the case for a MRD going DRK. Obviously this isn't XI, but when looking at DRK it's better to compare MMO to MMO rather than MMO to RPG.

As far as WAR, they've never been a distinguished Job until XI. For that reason and others I've shied away from saying MRD will go WAR.

But it's all good, the point of this thread was to discuss what Advanced Job MRD would get since SE left us hanging.

Thats my point exactly. I quoted someone who was not you. I am unclear why you felt I refering to you in the post really. My point was that the poster said MRD is more like WAR then DRK. Niether of which are announced jobs. It was not a typo, I think you misread or misunderstood, the idea of th post.

My point here is how can someone to assume to tell us MRD is more like WAR then DRK when nithr WAR nor DRK are realeased, mentioned being released, nor is it possible to have any idea of what they would be in XIV to compare them to anything. Point being, we have en how different the clases are in XIV then XI, so I find it of limited logic to compare jobs from XI to classes in XIV.
