Problem is that when you want to do a discussion. We got people saying. "Get good" or "I am use to it now."Do we need another thread?! Just silly things.

So many things that could be debated. Like why do I feel changing the core class is bad game design. Why do I feel that our support is lacking for a support dps. I would even accept a question of, why do I feel I must use the skill.

Instead I got question on my personal skill, and what I find fun. Amazing huh?

Well bards have an alternative now with machinist. It has enough procs and movement friendly cooldowns you can move everywhere with gauss on and maintain almost full rotation.

Warrior is op as hell anyways. Our FC WAR out dps' anyone but the greatest of dps players. Heck, even then, we had him out damage (one of the) best bards in the server on Ravana Ex farm while doing a MAIN TANK duty which greatly gimps his ability to dps at times.

A dcent dos should never lose to a PLD/DRK, but WAR is a really bad comparison point atm when you see them doing 800-900+ dps during raids.

I won't deny that a WAR is OP but BRD can do about 1,200+ in numbers, I've seen proof and the BRD was just a little under a DRG in A1. I won't say that I can go top DPS like that but I've definitely seen it done.

To everyone saying "Get good" or "Learn to play," You do realize that has absolutely nothing to do with liking HOW bard plays now right?

I know their dmg is fine, I've seen good parses, but that doesn't make me personally like how it now plays anymore than if it did 5k dps. In my opinion it's just clunky now and doesn't feel like a fantasy archer should. Now since I level everything this wasn't a huge problem for me. I'll get it to the cap eventually anyway, but I won't actually play it in cap content like I used to.

I was and still am SCH main, but I used PLD as my tank and BRD as my dps. Now it's SCH, PLD(maybe drk, haven't leveled it enough yet) and SMN.

My ability to learn the new way it plays has zero bearing on actually enjoying how it works now. I don't and OP doesn't either. If you're gonna rebutt him, do it the correct way, not by throwing out DPS numbers.
