Don't care if people refer to me as a he or a she because it doesn't matter at all. It's only when it starts to matter (e.g. being hit on) that I bother to correct them or bring it up at all.

Jaber I think that's all that really matters when it comes to knowing. If someone hits on you, let them know. As for the why, I suppose everyone has their reasons, whatever they may be. I have my beliefs, and they aren't in line with the beliefs of many others, but at the end of the day everyone deserves to be treated like an equal and a human being, and that's what's most important.

So while personally it's not my choice, nor will it ever be, to play a female character, I don't think it's right to look down on those who do (be confused maybe), but I also don't think it's right for guys to pretend to be girls when the other person obviously thinks they are a girl.

There's good and not so good people everywhere, in real life and in games and on forums. And their level of goodness or lack thereof comes in various degrees. We're going to find people that could care less how their behaviour affects others, and people who are just trying to the enjoy the game the way they like to, and if it's affecting someone negatively somehow, they try to undo that however they can. I think we should all be striving to be the latter (without making the specific focus of our time to please everyone) , whether we play catgirls or not, but life it is what it is, and unfortunately too many choose the former.

Eh I play a Mithra in FF 11 same name as this cher :3 I always play the ODD ball races and I'm a pet cat person in 11 out of the 3 odd balls there seen the Mithra in a gaming mag desided I would play one wasn't overly fond of the fact they was a female only race but meh I got over that in the years of my playing. In 14 I decided I wanted to remake my 11 cher and I did. I don't seek out freebies frankly I think any one that gives "Female" chers stuff are fools anyway and I well inform any one that hits on me I'm a guy in RL and leave it at that.
