Thanks for all the tips. I'll be doing it again tonight, should be able to get it down.

I don't know if I got luck or not but I beat A4 on third try in df in less 1h and only had more issues in the last part where we needed to spam aoe heals. During the encounter if your OT or DD get the yellow orbs right and deal with the yellow tethers right the fight won't be too hard. It will be just a healer responsibility to keep team full.
In p3 when we get that debuff we get 2 colors, one get a blue and other red. The healer than get blue debuff will need more heals than the one with red. Pop aspected helios then aspected benefic on both and other healer should pop medica 2 and regen if is whm for example and use normal heal, if go too low use essential dignity. Next debuff will switch, who had red get blue and the red get blue. Beside that try save max mp you can for last part. I was full then went down to 1k when boss died. If you get ewer use it too and spam your luminiferous aether when you go below 7k with spear if you got it, if not use anyway.
I hope I was useful even if is a little bit.

Thanks for the advices! I was able to down it last night even though my whm partner wasn't the best. I had the brd sing mana song the entire last phase since I was spamming benefic 2 and helios.
One thing about alexander that restores my faith in the community; you're more likely to have good groups in the later floors. If you have DD competent enough to handle floor 1, which they mustave done to see the rest of alexander, floor 3, and 4 generally go down easy.

Anticipate tanks and other who eat balls. Try not to eat them yourself. 1 ball + Ray = death. If you need to take one, make sure it hit by a heal immediately.
Regen both healers while the debuff is on, move back to the center when it expires to take advantage of your AoE heals. Just make sure you're out of the way before the boss finishes casting judgement.
Watch out for the boss casting discoid, your tank is gonna need some attention.
Gratz for the kill! I'm still struggling with that fight. Phase 1, sometimes people get hit by fireball + lazer and dies... Phase 3, fireballs and tethers on me, while I'm trying to heal myself from that debuff and watching out the tankbuster... And I'm aways having mana issues as AST o_o I even got kicked once from the group for dying with the OT on one of the fireballs on phase one -_- This greatly reduced my morale for the rest of the day.
I think once more people get the grasp of the mechanics and more gear, I'll be able to finish that raid. Must aways look Heavensward!
My raid team is WHM/SCH atm and we just Stoneskin + Adlo + Regen and the damage is mitigated so much you only need to heal yourself maybe once or twice.![]()
And, like magic, I managed to kill it following this thread's advices!
-Focus Targeted boss and watched for Discord. First one healed normally, second one I used Disable on the boss, third one I coupled healz with Sinastry, and everything was so crazy on the fourth one that I don't remember what happened.
-Every DPS helped with the fireballs and tethers, but never killing eachother :3
-Aspected Benefics and Helios everytime the debuff on me was falling off.
Was worth it. 10/10.
Best to have a whm partner due to regen stacking but it can be done with any other healer just harder on your mp pool as you have to be on the ball with heals another tactic is synastry with the other healer so they can heal you while you heal the tank.
In my static the Healers take the Orbs in all but the last phase. Time a heal to hit as the ball hits and recover the damage instantly. I've found that the orbs damage has never interrupted a cast. I usually take the hit then a step back. Precast the heal and stutterstep in the orb so the hit and the heal are at the same time. Take a step back and do it again. The thing about those orbs is they move slowly at first so you can step back and get ready for the next one. I find this much better than some crazy tank/dps just flying through all 3 of them without any regard to who is around them, or how much damage they are taking.
