I'm not able to get any of those new i110 MSQ quest rewards any longer I cannot test out whether or not the armor is dyeable. The weapons never were. However, only the i100 blue vendor gear is 'weathered' and Drake's UI still accepts only the 'weathered items on trade.. These new quest rewards have already been upgraded to 110.

Even if the i110 weapons are now a reward from MSQ as per expansion HW, you cannot get all i110 weapons.

I heard they are going to add the three new job weapons to those quests as well.

And once again, SE already stated they're making the path to gearing up more streamlined in order to get new folks into HW faster. You can buy HQ Heavensward gear on the market pretty cheap which is vastly better than the i110, and then use the HW quests to partly gear out an alt job or two.

I seriously can't see new players putting themselves through the same CT grind that we did for the Ironworks gear. Weapons yes, gear no. They want into HW asap.

We were level capped and had no better way to gear up if you could manage to get a Coils static. [which a ton of people could not] The new guys have no caps and can get poetics more that twice as fast as we ever could so they really could use a big bump in the availability of the carbon based upgrade items.
Idk, maybe add those items to the first and second boss's chests? OR, turn the weekly into a DAILY!
