Moar Aurians! They are adorable and I look forward to seeing them more in the world. And as far as grammatical conventions go, I understood it as:
He is an Au Ra.
The Auri are a new race.
The Aurian female dark knight stance is my favorite.

It would be :2. Hyur is Hyuran. Lalafell is Lalafellin. What onEarthHydaelyn is the adjectival form of Au Ra?
This one's a little special. Instead of just tacking an 'n' to the end of Ra, the term takes on a slight metamorphosis. Au Ra -> Auri (pronounced Ow-ree, rhymes with Maori). Example: "An Auri warrior can eat a whole turkey in a single sitting."
He is an Au Ra.
The Au Ra are the new race.
The Auri female dark knight stance is my favorite.
#grammar nazi
Guess Godbert would just have to higher players then, way to many of 'em enjoy that hempin set!
Man, the whole deal with Zantetsuken coming from an Au Ra is weird, like does that mean Odin was a person at a point in time, because isn't Zantetsuken the actual primal out of the two?
in ff14:
Zantetsukuen posseses someone and to be Odin, Odin is always someone else and the actual power/being a primal Comes from the sword
That text (Also our first in game mention of the Au Ra by name) implies Odin was a thing before Zantetsuken sorta possessed his form though. Many have pondered why a dark divinity with roots in northern mythology would wield a blade with a decidedly Far Eastern name. A popular theory is that Odin acquired the blade upon slaying an Auri warrior who was the first ever to notch his theretofore unsullied plate.
It's just a theory according to the text so it might be false, we don't know anything about Odin, and it might be refering to a man called Odin deified and that people would have summon again and the sword was taken by mortal Odin, not Primal Odin. Many have pondered why a dark divinity with roots in northern mythology would wield a blade with a decidedly Far Eastern name. A popular theory is that Odin acquired the blade upon slaying an Auri warrior who was the first ever to notch his theretofore unsullied plate.
I want this now D: You could even have two of them: one who's more shy and anxious while the other has to hold back their temper against the customers. All while learning how to work with each other despite their differences in clan![]()
As soon as you can prove to me that the scales on their legs won't harm the bunny tights, then I'll consider agreeing that they need to work there - Or alternate outfits. Either one.
Well, that right there is obviously why none of them are working there just yet; The tailors in Godbert's employ have to figure out a new material to work with for the Auri girls' uniforms that won't develop runs quite so easily, without changing the appearance overly much.
That's why I mentioned grammatical conventions. I should have noted that I find it interesting that they chose to go a different path. Linguistically speaking it's odd. Guess that's what happens when I post while half asleep.![]()
