Level 50 Dungeons are pointless besides Law =(

Doing the roulette for law is still more effective than queueing a 60 dungeon if you've already done your expert roulette (unless you get bonus).

These zones are fun and deserve to be ran, and were ran for quite some time. They had the spotlight and now we've moved on. Now they still have their niche, but yeah they'll always be secondary to the newer content.

Not really. It is almost half of what I get from running Aurum Vale. I don't recall the other zones losing their spotlight.

Yeah av gives more exp. It also takes 3x as long as most high dungeons. Every Lv 50 dungeon in 110 cap gear can be done in 10 min. Av takes ages. I'll keep doing my high roulette for exp every day over spamming av thank you very much.

What about new players, who need to do several dungeons to even gain access to these dungeons? Its still not much, and AV isn't that bad. You just skip the one named.

I hope you weren't saying that with a straight face. Only so many times I can stand watching someone get clubbed to death, or pull an entire room of enemies with poison, before I lose my mind.

I recently complained about this. I'm new the FF14 and hadn't run any of these dungeons. I wanted to unlock the roulette because it was content I hadn't seen and I wasn't keen on running the same two dungeons over and over again for a small gain.

Now I have ran the fifteen high level roulette dungeons and actually enjoyed it. I assumed to begin with that the hard mode versions of these dungeons were like heroics from wow. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that they were a 'here what happened while you were gone" and some have great lore and fun bosses.

However. I still don't like how I was bottle necked into running all of these to unlock a feature that will typically reward less law. It is actually giving players less incentive play old content and even some of the older players in my FC haven't unlocked their HL roulette.

Adding some new cards to the older dungeons would serve to make them more attractive. A Kraken card from Hullbreaker Isle, perhaps?

AV isn't that bad.

Aw you must be one the lucky ones who werent around when AV had superhigh latency for over 3 months, and it was required to unlock something to get relic.
It took me a month to finally beat it after I hit level 50. With party members dcing every 3 minutes, game stopped for 10seconds. it wasn't possible to eat fruit so you just had to click it and hope you didnt die the 15-20 seconds it took you to actually eat it.

This is the reason I will hate AV forever :c

Really? So you still did WP speedruns in 2.2 to farm your tomes? Spammed sastasha nm to grind xp from 35+? There's always been a linear progression to this game.
