    Dark Knight - Bad case of Delirium

    So I was browsing my abilities seeing which ones should be placed where on my hotbar since I'm still leveling the Dark Knight, and I notice something. Delirium's INT debuff doesn't stack with Dragon Kick, but Dragon Kick doesn't just apply an INT debuff but a Blunt resist down debuff as well. This causes a slight problem.

    The way I see it, the debuff either replaces the Dragon Kick debuff, or it simply doesn't apply itself (I've yet to actually try it out with a MNK in the party), but if the Delirium Debuff replaces the Dragon Kick debuff, then you're effectively reducing the damage that the MNK is doing by 10%. If it doesn't apply itself, then it's effectively a somewhat useless ability in the DRK arsenal.

    The only thing going for it is that it is the 3rd part of the highest non-dark arts potency combo.

    PowerSlash: 100 -> 220 -> 300
    Delirium: 100 -> 250 -> 280

    Unfortunately, this damage edge out is a mere 10 potency, and am unsure whether or not this would matter at all in the end-game (Only lv52 currently).

    If Dragon Kick is already on ,Delirium just does damage without applying anything. I assume that its the opposite with DK replacing Deli since it has the extra effect, but I may be wrong.

    I'm pretty sure it just won't stack the int debuff.

    Dragon Kick will always have priority and cannot be overwritten by Delirium

    Edit: guess I should also include it doesn't stack either.

    Dragon Kick just has higher priority. If you use Delirium when Dragon Kick is up, you'll do damage, but the Delirium debuff won't apply at all. If Delirium is already up on the enemy, and the MNK uses Dragon Kick, the Dragon Kick will completely replace the Delirium debuff.\

    So, basically there's nothing you need to worry about

    (unless you're concerned about our limited utility compared to WAR/PLD...)

    Does the INT debuff even matter for spellcasting enemies? Is it a significant damage decrease?

    Otherwise that's a relief that it won't mess up MNKs in the group.

    It is a constant 10% decrease to damage coming from you, and in paticular for spellcasting-only enemies is pretty good. Add in Dark Mind and you cut their damage down pretty well.

    I think a magic down debuff would make this skill more relevant and have them as serious contenders for the MT spot because lets be honest I think we can all agree that the WAR is the king of OT.

    The int debuff is one of the biggest raid wide non healer mitigation abilities in the game. It is superb IMO. In non echo final coil it could literally be the difference between a raid wipe and survival depending on the hp threshold and gear level of your team.

    I think the drk is more of an increased dps MT vs pally as opposed to an OT IMO. The compromise of course being that mitigation is exchanged here which may be good or bad depending on the ability of the player or healers involved. Our team hasn't had any issues with it yet and the overall dps has increased with drk as mt. But mileage can surly vary.
