    What is the best way to level a chocobo? Mine is only level 5 and I constantly have to dismiss it to do quests that are forced to be done solo and to queue for duty finder. It's just an incredibly inconvenience to have my chocobo out. Not to mention that you have to dismiss it everytime you use a mount other than your chococbo.

    It's best to dedicate time to level your chocobo as oppose to as meantime thing. When I am bored, I just decide to help my chocobo level and start doing FATEs with him until his time expired. Best place to level currently is Northern Thanalan, because you can do them faster with decent XP. The new expansion spaces take longer to complete even if they are about the same level as in Northern Thanalan, so you make less XP per minute or hour or however you gage it.
