Here's the better argument with proof then: Go to New Race and near the bottom of the paragraph for Au Ra. It clearly says Auri.

This one's a little special. Instead of just tacking an 'n' to the end of Ra, the term takes on a slight metamorphosis. Au Ra -> Auri (pronounced Ow-ree, rhymes with Maori). Example: "An Auri warrior can eat a whole turkey in a single sitting."

Moar Aurians! They are adorable and I look forward to seeing them more in the world. And as far as grammatical conventions go, I understood it as:
He is an Au Ra.
The Auri are a new race.
The Aurian female dark knight stance is my favorite.

Guess Godbert would just have to higher players then, way to many of 'em enjoy that hempin set!
Man, the whole deal with Zantetsuken coming from an Au Ra is weird, like does that mean Odin was a person at a point in time, because isn't Zantetsuken the actual primal out of the two?
in ff14:
Zantetsukuen posseses someone and to be Odin, Odin is always someone else and the actual power/being a primal Comes from the sword

That's why I mentioned grammatical conventions. I should have noted that I find it interesting that they chose to go a different path. Linguistically speaking it's odd. Guess that's what happens when I post while half asleep.![]()
