My most recent one was in Alex 3 today during vortex phase. I got tethered to a party member that didnt complete the polarity mechanic resulting in -30% attributes. Then I got the damage tether, quickly holmganged an add running off and swapped into defiance and used equilibrium. Was the highlight of my day.

Titan Ex with single heal, single tank. I had 5 stacks, full health, no adlo, no stoneskin, no CDs left. Hit holmgang and went to 1 hp from the next mountain buster. I can't remember if we cleared that time.

I have yet to figure out how to Holmgang a) in time b) not just a little too early and c) not directly into at least one (probably more like five) AOE zone.

That said I did enjoy Shiva farming, getting targeted for pushback as MT/single-tank, and getting to stand there pressing a big ol' NOPE button labeled Holmgang. :P

During the last seconds of the fight, boss was spamming me with Perpetual Ray (or whatever it's called) and my HP dropped to 1 twice during holmgang

My personal favorite was against Levi EX. I was tired and on the tenth run when I accidently ran to the slam instead of away from it with the bubbles. I can't remember if I targeted the bubbles or levi, but I do remember Holmgang activated at the right time, and I sat at the ledge damn near pissing myself.

was doing leves to lvl up war and got one where the enemy ran away to get reinforcements. NOT TODAY.

Healer let me die in an instance aoe pull, still two mobs left. I revived at start of instance equilibrium'd for tp, took the shortcut and sprinted. Healer was sprinting towards me with less than 1k hp. Used provoke on one mob and HGed the other so it was bound while I established agro.

T10, got hit with Heat Lightning, and Wild Charge is coming. I'm feeling lazy as an Off Tank. I take the first hit of Wild Charge like I'm suppose to as an Off Tank. Hits me 45k... only not because I used Holmgang. Boss turns and Crackle Hisses Main Tank right after. Hits me for 20k... only not because Holmgang is still active. Inner Beast + Thrill of Battle right after so the healers don't have a heart attack at seeing a low HP bar. T13, second set of Ahk Morns is coming soon, Paladin is scared. Provoke, establish enmity + Holmgang. First Ahk Morn hits like a Mentally Handicapped Gorilla, followed by his two equally mentally handicapped cousins. Still live anyways because just as I lose my Holmgang, my Paladin has regained his courage and Covered me + Provoked.

Sorry, but nothing beats the planned uses of this skill.
