Please make the Au Ra horns separate from the faces!

Disappointing because the tools for more customization are obviously there but we didn't get all of it.

Combined with Yoshi's comments back before HW released about how in-depth the customization was going to be, it's really looking like they had been planning on giving us a much wider range of options than they did. It's a recurring problem of stripped back functionality, likely to meet a too-rapidly approaching deadline. Unfortunately, SE doesn't have a very good track record for going back to such features and fixing them. They tend to just stick with whatever version was released, even if they know it's not as good as what they'd planned. They don't seem to like going back and fixing or improving things, not even when the improved version was their original intention.

We've seen it in everything from QOL features (like the ability to show or hide individual quests in the quest tracker, an ability that was removed because they couldn't fix the bugs in it in time for ARR release, but then they never went back and fixed it after release either so that they could put it back in), to major game features like housing (remember how personal housing was going to be completely separate from FC housing? In the end turned into just letting individuals buy the same houses as FCs already could).

I really wish that when something gets drastically stripped back to meet a release deadline, SE would put a bit more priority into going back and fixing the deficiencies, so it can be improved on in the next patch. In an ever-evolving game like an MMO, things can be improved or added to even after their initial release. Unfortunately, SE doesn't seem to think so.

These are all very good examples of why we might never get this thread answered and it breaks my heart. I feel like all these features have been put on the back-back burner and might never see the light of day. And it sucks because the journal, housing and Au Ras could really use some love.

See, I'm more interested in them listening to the userbase's various requests popular or not and observing where each race is lacking in regards to customization in regards to some things like facial type and other features. I'd worried if SE just listened strictly to the highest demand we'd end up with 90% of the population split between maybe like 3 faces that look nearly exactly the same. I mean, let's be honest we know SE would probably use correlation data to get ideas of what to do and when it comes to adding new things, I don't think relying strictly of correlational data is all of that good of an idea. Either way, like if they added lots of stuff to each race with each patch I know I'd be super pleased, especially if they just tried to cram as many requests as they could, popular or not.

Well, we just gotta keep trying (bump)! Hopefully SE does listen, we know they do listen to the userbase in some situations, and hopefully they realize that a lot of plays do want more character customization options soon.
