High Level Roulette (no one does these)

leveling an alt, trying to run some of the mandatory old dungeons from lvl 50 to finish up my AAR story, and no one runs these old ones. They don't give XP, and I think most people dont have the High Level Roulette unlocked, since it requires running a bunch of old pointless content just to unlock it.

So, nobody queues for these roulettes at 50 since they aren't unlocked, and the few people who do have it unlocked probably could care less.

Solution: Make all lvl 50 dungeons unlocked so at least people can run the roulette to help out on these. (since no one needs poetics or lvl 50 gear and they don't give XP ... they are worthless to run for 99.9% of pop)

They don't need to auto-unlock them. I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that "most" people don't have access to HL roulette. At this point "most" people probably do.

The issue is that the trash and bosses don't award exp. So the only exp you get from the dungeon comes from completion and it's not enough to justify the amount of time it takes to run one.

Want to get people interested in high-level roulette dungeons? Make everything award exp like the low-level roulette dungeons do.

There is definitely a huge spike in players that don't have access to it. Most returning players that haven't played in a long time wont have access to it. And unfortunately the game does a great job of hiding the fact you should do this and that to unlock it. The biggest issue is how it's completely hidden from your UI, so you don't even realize its something you can get, or that you are missing out on rewards. In all honosty it should be listed, and it should also tell you not only what dungeons your missing, but where the npc is located to start the quest. I know some people don't like hand holding, but for some players they will be completely clueless forever unless there is something in game to direct them there. Sense they spend 90% of there time in the new zones, they wont even pass by these old zones to see the quest marker. Maybe there should be a system that prioritizes those quests on the duty list, no matter where you are. That way you know you need to go do them, idk.

Also I'm running it daily to level up my BLM, and will for my WAR too. But afterwards I'd run it for the tome bonus.

A lot of people do have high level roulette unlocked, but most people do not because the population tends to be stacked at lower levels. However, there's really not enough of an incentive to run level 50 dungeons.

High level roulette is a great source of law tomes. I try to run it every day. I almost always get Sastasha HM.

I run it every day as well to level. My queue times as dps are really fast so others must be also.

I run it everyday along with a large portion of my free company. The argument that no one is running it is false. It's less than a 5 min queue as a dps. Take something that people aren't actually running and compare the queue times, like PVP, and you'll get 45 min+ queues. I think that you should have to complete the dungeons and unlock them for the roulette and doing further incentives doing the dungeons and lowers the time on the roulette. Your proposed solution would actually lower the amount of people in these dungeons, not increase them.

I run it every day too. Mostly for the poetics for desynthing I120 gear.
